- Inorganic

Inorganic chemistry is concerned with the properties and behavior of inorganic compounds, They contain abroad class of substances encompassing all those that do not include carbon and its derivatives as their principal elements. However, carbides, carbonates, cyanides, cyanates, and carbon disulfide are included in this class. Inorganic chemistry also studies the remaining subset of compounds other than organic compounds, there is some overlap between the two fields which include metals, minerals, and organometallic compounds.
